Magnolia is an independent production company leader in the creation and adaptation of television entertainment formats. Led by Leonardo Pasquinelli, Magnolia produces a wide range of television products for all the main broadcasters: from the longest-running game show in Italian television history, L’Eredità, to Undressed, the original, made in Italy format with the highest level of international distribution (commissioned in 8 different countries). Some of the longest-running shows produced by Magnolia are: L’Eredità, L’Isola dei famosi, Pechino Express, Piazza Pulita, Bake Off. The company was founded in 2001 by Giorgio Gori, Ilaria Dallatana and Francesca Canetta, and in 2007 the De Agostini Group bought a controlling interest in the company, making Magnolia a strategic asset for its development in the Media market, through the creation of the Zodiak Media Group in June 2010. In 2016, the Banijay Group and Zodiak merged and under the direction of Marco Bassetti, became the largest independent production company in the world.
